The garden at The Duke of Cambridge is much more than somewhere to enjoy a drink in the sunshine — it's a destination in its own right. At the heart of the garden is a bespoke timber adventure playground, designed by Flights of Fantasy and inspired by the River Wey that flows through nearby Tilford. Rope bridges, lookout towers, balancing features, a rowing boat, slide and climbing elements encourage children to explore and play in a setting that blends naturally into the surrounding countryside.

While the younger members of the family are busy exploring rope bridges, climbing towers and creating adventures of their own, there's plenty of space for everyone else to slow the pace. Comfortable outdoor seating, shaded areas, open lawns and the Garden Bar & Grill create the perfect setting for everything from a leisurely coffee to a relaxed afternoon with friends or an evening meal as the sun begins to set.
The food and service was excellent, my grandchildren loved the play area and what a range of food to choose from, not just your usual Sunday roast. An amazing venue, we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you for making our day so enjoyable.

We went on a Monday evening for dinner and it was quiet. Service, food, and setting are all great. Really enjoyed the rosemary fries and summer tomato salad. Wife and son loved their scallops and ribs.

We've just had the best food. We live on the south coast & I have never had fish & chips that good. (The mushy peas were amazing!) The roast beef was just as impressive. The staff were all lovely & it is a gorgeous pub with a lovely atmosphere & lots of outside dining. Would definitely recommend this to everyone. We will be back!
